Great Location and Comfortable Stay

The area where this place is located is amazing – so convenient! You can easily reach the lake and the grocery store from here. Plus, the food is pretty good and they offer a nice variety. We loved it! 😃✌️

Easy and quiet

Difficult entry to hotel. No automatic door opener And no one to hold the door for me or help me with my luggage. The night desk person did eventually see me struggling and jumped to help me and was very nice. I believe to qualiify for any higher rating is that if there is no door opener either automatic or person, then the night staff should ask first if the customer needs assistance upon check in. Then be vigilant about keeping aware of the person entering the hotel to see if there are any problems. This is all about training!

The room had a comfortable King bed, a Jacuzzi tub, and modern amenities including a microwave, fridge, and coffee/tea making facilities, which I really enjoyed.

The facilities were very nice and the staff very friendly.

Some of the staff seemed to be being overworked, juggling too many jobs there at the hotel, and so dropped the ball on one or two things during our visit. One staff member seemed to have to do all the work on the phone, deal with bookings, keep up the pool, and also do room cleanings! That's quite a lot, maybe the hotel should hire others to help!

There were well-appointed rooms with a sofa.

Night manager was great the first night of our stay. Loved the cookies!

Most of the desk staff wore SCRUBS, which was just weird. The beds in both of our rooms were very messily made, with a pillow on the floor, etc. Didn't seem very clean after the maid had been there.

The setting is favourable and perfect, just next door to Pella for Tulip festival, the race track and downtown Pell and restaurants. Again, the hotel is 2 miles from Bos Landen Golf Club. The breakfast is particularly nice with a lot of dishes.

We had a pleasant and calming stay with the very friendly and courteous staff here.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lobby was nice, and smell of home baked cookies was welcoming. Coffee, tea and cookies were offered to incoming guests. Room was nice and hotel maintained a strict no smoking rule, which was good. Bed was very comfortable.

Found coffee maker in the room not cleaned, but room was great.

The room was spacious, newly furnished with a large TV and a comfortable King bed, and situated in a pleasant and convenient neighborhood.

Our room was dirty. We found dirty clothing left by former guests in our room. The cot we asked for had a filthy mattress and had rips in fabric. The windows had paper towels stuffed in them to keep out heat and cold. Our tub was gross. We left for a different hotel on Pella after one night.

I enjoyed the location, close to town and the bypass, along with several amenities. I liked requesting the ground floor and having that request honored.

Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of healthy choices, overripe fruit, and the hot water carafe had coffee grounds in it. I went into Pella to eat breakfast most mornings.
